We have been offering actor training since 1994 and producing our annual Actors' International Retreat Experience since 1999. 

We are pleased to offer a curriculum of all skill levels, which will provide you with fundamental, well-rounded and challenging seasons of learning and growing. Whatever your level, we have ongoing classes and weekend workshops for you. Some are repeated, some are ever-changing, to suit the needs of the students.

In an exciting but safe place, you can take risks, work without a net and build your technique; explore, grow and change. Our teaching artists are working professionals and have an immediate understanding of the professional process; either as directors and/or performers. The students are provided with performance opportunities. All are Open House events for inquiring students or art lovers alike!

Showcases: Once per quarter featuring the students' class work

Play Reading Series: Multiple times a year with guest directors exploring full-length plays using techniques studied at The Studio

Excelsior! Stage: Works-in-Progress and New Works - Frequently; based upon the playwrights' development of new plays.

Our Guest Artist program brings you some of the most innovative teachers in America as part of our vision for the ongoing development of you, the artist. Not only does the Guest Artists' work weave into the tapestry of the Director's but these instructors are constantly expanding and developing their own techniques.  You can also experience most of our guest artists' work at the Actors' International Retreat Experience.
